Have you ever heard of the word “Kaizen”? It’s from two Japanese words put together. “Kai” means “change” and “zen” means “good”. Put together, it means “good change” or “change for the better”.
This technique was invented by Masaaki Imai. He is a known Japanese organizational theorist and management consultant. He founded his very own self-improvement and consulting group called the “Kaizen Institute Consulting Group”, named directly after the technique that he invented.
In his theory, he explains that “the message of KaiZen strategy is that not a day should go by without some kind of improvement being made somewhere.” He believes that improvement is a habit that should be developed every day, gradually, until the goal is achieved.
